Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear for the flight?

It’s recommended to wear an extra layer of clothing – even if it feels warm on the ground. Due to the constant headwind of around 40 km/h, the wind chill during paragliding can make it feel much colder.

Long pants or leggings help protect the legs, especially in case of slipping at the launch site. Helmets and gloves are provided.

Most important: sturdy footwear with good grip.

Is paragliding safe?

Safety is the top priority. All flights are conducted by certified pilots with many years of experience. All equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to meet the highest safety standards.

A clear and thorough briefing is provided before every flight.
By focusing on a single flight area, local knowledge further helps minimize residual risks.

Paragliding with fear of heights – is it possible?

Yes – even people with a fear of heights often find paragliding surprisingly calming.
Unlike standing on a ledge, paragliding involves sitting securely in a harness and gliding gently through the air. The experience feels liberating rather than frightening.

Experienced pilots ensure a relaxed atmosphere, so the flight and the breathtaking views can be enjoyed with ease.
