The Paragliding Pilatus meeting point is located either at the top of Mount Pilatus or at the valley station in Kriens – depending on your flight plan. Here’s how to find us easily and what to expect. From there, we continue together to the takeoff site.

Punctuality is important, as the cable cars run on a fixed schedule and weather windows are limited.

There are several ways to reach the Pilatus cable car valley station in Kriens:
🚍 By public transport:
From Lucerne main station, take Bus No. 1 towards “Kriens/Obernau”.
Get off at “Kriens, Zentrum Pilatus”. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk, following the signs to the Pilatusbahn valley station.
Meeting point is directly in front of the cable car entrance.
🚗 By car:
Paid parking is available at the valley station.
On nice days – especially weekends – spaces may fill up quickly. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early.
If parking is full, nearby shopping centres or public lots in Kriens offer additional options, though you may need to walk a few minutes.

If you’ve chosen to meet on top of Mount Pilatus, please note:
The team will arrive approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled meeting time in Kriens.
If you selected Pilatus Kulm (mountain station) as your meeting point, your journey starts in Kriens.
🎫 Ticket:
Please purchase a one-way ticket to “Pilatus Kulm” – no return ticket needed, as the descent will be by paraglider.
🚠 Cable car journey:
From the Kriens valley station, take the panoramic gondola via Krienseregg to Fräkmüntegg.
Important: Stay seated until Fräkmüntegg – do not get off at the first stop.
From there, continue within the same building to the large aerial cableway, which takes you directly to Pilatus Kulm.
🏨 Meeting point at the top:
After exiting the cable car, follow a slightly uphill indoor passage for about 40 meters to reach the Hotel Bellevue reception – that’s where we meet.
While waiting, feel free to relax in the hotel lobby or enjoy the stunning views from the top of Pilatus.
⏱️ Please note:
Our pilots will arrive approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled meeting time, as they travel up from Kriens.
No stress – the meeting point is clearly visible.
If you’re accompanied by friends or family members who prefer to stay on the ground, they can watch you land right next to the Pilatus cable car station in Kriens. It’s just a short walk from the valley station and a great spot to capture photos or videos of your landing.
