Tandemflug Pilatus · Live overview

Current Flight Capacity at Pilatus

Check which days are likely to have pilots available for tandem paragliding from Mount Pilatus. This overview helps you plan your flight — especially if you want to fly with a friend, need a fixed time slot, or want to send a short-notice request.

Quick overview

The day cards show the maximum pilot capacity for each day. Tap a card to see the individual time slots.

For groups & friends

If several people want to fly on the same day, look for days with higher capacity.

Useful add-on: Fly with a friend.

For tight schedules

If you have a connection, hotel transfer, or a tight travel plan, the fixed time add-on can be useful.

You can find it in the booking process and on the flight options page.

Live calendar

Availability for the next weeks

The overview is based on blocked times in our pilot calendars. Time slots that have already started today are hidden. Short-notice available slots can be requested directly through the spontaneous request link.

Note: The capacity overview does not replace a booking confirmation. The final flight decision also depends on weather, launch site, wind and your pilot’s safety assessment.

Which flight fits the current capacity?

If you are flexible, you can usually book your preferred flight directly. If several people want to fly together or if you need a specific time window, the capacity overview can help you choose a better day.

Book directly or check capacity first?

If you are planning ahead, you can usually book directly through the booking system. For very short-notice slots within the next three hours, the widget shows a spontaneous request link if capacity is available.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about flight capacity

Is the displayed flight capacity binding?
No. The overview is for orientation only. It is based on the currently loaded pilot calendars, but it does not replace a confirmed booking. Weather, launch site, wind and your pilot’s safety decision remain decisive.
How often is availability updated?
The calendars are checked about every 15 minutes. New bookings or newly blocked times may therefore appear with a slight delay.
Why can’t I book short-notice slots through the normal booking system?
Regular online booking requires at least three hours’ notice. For available short-notice slots, the widget shows a spontaneous request link. Our pilots are then contacted directly on their phones.
What happens after a spontaneous request?
When you submit the spontaneous booking form, our pilots are notified directly. If a pilot is available, they will call you to arrange the meeting point and confirm whether the flight can take place.
Can I fly together with a friend?
Yes, in principle. This requires enough available pilots and suitable weather conditions. You can find more information about the add-on on the flight options page.
What does high capacity mean for groups?
High capacity means that several pilots currently appear as available in the calendars. For larger groups, early booking is still recommended, because with enough notice we can sometimes ask additional pool pilots.
Should I also check the flight weather?
Yes. Pilot capacity and flyable weather are two different things. Capacity shows whether pilots are likely to have time. The flight weather overview helps you judge whether the conditions may also be suitable.
